STUDY ISLAM - Islam, a true religion of peace and humanity, started in the 7th century in Saudi Arabia by it's prophet, Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him). Currently Islam is the second largest religion in the world, and some estimate that there are of 1.2 to 1.5 billion Muslims.
Islam's sacred scripture is Qur'an, or al-Qur'an. It was revealed by Allah SWT to the prophet Mohammed (PBUH) through the angel Jibril or Gabriel. These revelations came to Mohammed in a period of 22 years, from AD 610 up to his death in AD 632. This is a "manual book" of living, in the other words, Qur'an is the "Art of Living".
Islam is more than just a religion, since it covers areas of spirituality, society, politics, and law. For example, there are teachings about how to pray, how the members of society should behave, who can be a leader, and what kind of punishments should be given for different offenses, and many other things. Insya Allah i will explain all of it on this blog.
Islam commands Muslims (followers if Islam religion) to seek knowledge. The first revelation received by Prophet Muhammad, ordered to read. So very clearly, that Islam is a religion that put forward science and logic. This is why i create this blog. I want to present Islam from the viewpoint of human logic and reasoning.
I hope this blog useful for Muslims and can be a place for peace discussion of non-Muslims.
