STUDY ISLAM - My answer is, Yes, Muslims is a terrorist and should be a terrorist! I know, when I say this, a lot of eyebrows raised. But I get your attention, right? So I hope you continue reading this article until the end, because it's important for me to explain the purpose of my words.
No doubt, many people hate Islam because Islam is related to a terrorism. According to the Time Magazine, on an article which came on the April 16th 1979, it said that more than 60,000 books have been written against Islam in a span of 150 years from 1800 to 1950. Everyday more than one book and after 11th September this has reached epidemic levels. After the bombings of the WTC towers in 11th September, many terrorist acts and explain their un-Islamic actions under the guise of Islam.

People who hate Islam are quoting verses of the Qur'an out of context, they tried to explain what lies behind the acts of terrorism. And the most common verses is Surah At-Tawbah Ch.9 Verses.5, which says:
Then when the sacred months (the Ist, 7th, 11th, and 12th months of the Islâmic calendar) have passed, Then kill the Mushrikûn wherever You find them, and capture them and besiege them, and prepare for them each and Every ambush....

Actually this verses is speaks about the peace treaty between the Muslims and the mushriks of Mecca, and this peace treaty was unilaterally broken by the mushriks of Mecca. So in the battlefields, Allah tells the Muslims to fight and kill when the kaafir came to attack.
Furthermore, if you read Surah At-Tawbah Ch.9 Verses.5, as a whole, which says:
Then when the sacred months (the Ist, 7th, 11th, and 12th months of the Islâmic calendar) have passed, Then kill the Mushrikûn wherever You find them, and capture them and besiege them, and prepare for them each and Every ambush. But if they repent and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, Then leave their Way free. Verily, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

You can see the different? But, if you read the next verses, I'm sure you will be absolutely understand:
and if anyone of the Mushrikûn (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers In the Oneness of Allâh) seeks Your protection. Then grant him protection, so that he may hear the word of Allâh (the Qur'ân), and Then escort him to where he can be secure, that is because they are men who know not.

Thats clearly said Islam is not violence, Islam is not a terrorist. Al-Qur'an says about fighting, about killing, but as the last resort, peace will prevail. Islam is derived from the word ‘salaam’ which means peace. It is a religion of peace whose fundamentals teach its followers to maintain and promote peace throughout the world. So, Islam has never justify acts of terrorism, as alleged by those who hate Islam.
I have not answered all the questions? well, I still have to explain why Muslims is a terrorist and should be a terrorist. Here is the answer, A terrorist is a person who causes terror. The moment a robber sees a policeman he is terrified. A policeman is a terrorist for the robber. Similarly every Muslim should be a terrorist for the anti-social elements of society, such as murderer, thieves, or rapists. Whenever such an anti-social element sees a Muslim, he should be terrified. It is true that the word ‘terrorist’ is generally used for a person who causes terror among the common people. But a true Muslim should only be a terrorist to selective people i.e. anti-social elements, and not to the common innocent people. In fact a Muslim should be a source of peace for innocent people. People hate Islam because of this? Now, people can't find any reason to hate Islam.
But when people hate Islam, actually is not Islam that should be hated, but Muslims (followers of Islam) which supposed to be hated, and even then only certain Muslims should be hated. It is not fair to hate Islam, just because what some Muslims do or what some Muslim's society does. Furthermore, the act of a Muslim, do not always represent Islam. because, the act of Muslims who representing Islam is a deed that contained in the "manual" of every Muslims, the Glorious Qur'an.
