Proving Life After Death

| Tuesday, November 1, 2011 | 0 comments

STUDY ISLAM - Speaking about life after death, actually it's not fully understood by limited human reason. However, life after death is also not a blind logic. Here will be described evidence of life after death, and explained that life after death is a logical and credible.

Let me remind you, if you're looking for "visual" evidence about life after death, unfortunately you couldn't have it. because we can't came back after we died and tell the story, we couldn't meet Allah Almighty God to arrange an interview, and I think angel wouldn't upload about life after death to youtube either. But, we will prove about the existence about life after death in a logical way. As long as we think logically and a logical explanation been given, certainly we can accept the existence about life after death.

First, How do we obtained information about life after death? We, muslims, obtain information about life after death is from the Holy Qur'an. The next question is, how authentic Al-Qur'an is? Can we trust the book that revealed 14 century ago? In my previous article here, I've already prove that Al-Qur'an is the Words of God.

There are more than a thousand verses in the Glorious Qur’an, containing scientific facts. Many facts mentioned in the Qur’an have been discovered in the last few centuries. But science has not yet advanced to a level where it can confirm every statement of the Holy Qur’an.

Say: "Who is it that sustains you (in life) from the sky and from the earth? or who is it that has power over hearing and sight? and who is it that brings out the Living from the dead and the dead from the living? and who is it that rules and regulates all affairs?" They will soon say, "(Allah)". say, "Will ye not then Show piety (to Him)?"
[QS. Yunus 10:31]

And He makes comparisons for us, and forgets His own (origin and) creation: He says, "Who can give life to (dry) bones and decomposed ones (at that)?"
Say, "He will give them life who created them for the first time! for He is Well-versed In every kind of creation!".
[QS. Yaasin 36:78-79]

Let's say, 80% of all that is mentioned in the Qur’an has been proved correct (100% correct). And the remaining 20%, science makes no categorical statement, since it has not yet advanced to a level, where it can either prove or disprove these statements. With the limited knowledge that we have, we cannot say for sure whether even a single percentage or a single verse of the Qur’an from this 20% portion is wrong. Thus when 80% of the Qur’an is correct and the remaining 20% is not disproved, logic says that even the 20% portion is correct. The existence of the hereafter, which is mentioned in the Qur’an, falls in the 20% ambiguous portion which my logic says is correct.

Second, anything in this world had a purpose or a goal. Nothing is useless in the creation. Even a tiny insect had a purpose or had a way to make useful. The next question is, What is the purpose of human creation? Why we here? Why we live? Life of this world cannot be the ultimate purpose of human creation, because what's life if we came to this world only for a while, even had to face numerous problems that confronted us, then die and an end to everything? just like that? No way!!

Look around you, see this world and browse the universe. Everything, i mean EVERYTHING is created with a perfect-balance, and well-organized. Planets orbiting with a regular basis, every living creature goes in a balanced (e.g food chains), even in the body of every human being there is a highly complex construction that works so orderly. Everything in nature works so balance, so fair. Let's make example, many people hate and affraid of snakes, but what happen if there is no snakes in this world? of course the population of rats will go "boom", and if thats happen, no crops would survive and the implication would affect human as well.

What about life after death? If there's no life after death, that's not make a sense, why? like I told you before, we live in this perfect-balanced world, so it's not logically if there's only one unbalanced in this well-organized world. I think, life after death is a balance for this life, because people would do anything they like - even hurting others if they have to - to satisfy their desire. How about the fate of the oppressed? they are treated unjustly? those who did not get justice in this world? And how to punish those who do evil things? those who oppress the weaks? those who have power but use it with arbitrary? and all the crimes that did not get a fair justice in this world? Are we still think that Allah Almighty God is the Most Justice? I don't think so. The concept of justice, concept of good and evil mean NOTHING without the concept of life after death.
